Antiviral membrane material "AGIVIR"

Sample available! Antiviral film material that can be used indoors and outdoors, requiring no special maintenance.

"AGIVIR" is a membrane material developed to improve the hygiene environment in places touched by a large number of people. Antiviral materials applied with sprays and similar methods lose their effectiveness in a short time, but this product can be used for about three years if it is not damaged, allowing for long-term measures to be taken. Inaba Seiko is the sales agent for the antiviral membrane material "AGIVIR." Please contact us for samples. 【Features】 ■ Usable indoors and outdoors (some materials are for indoor use only) ■ Usable for about three years if not damaged ■ Antibacterial testing completed (ASTM E2180) ■ Skin irritation testing completed (OECD TG 439) ■ No special maintenance such as washing or disinfection required ■ Japan Flame Retardant Association certified (some non-flame retardant materials available) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Tohoku University Technology: λ-Ti3O5 thin film: T20-3141

Relatively easy production, large surface area (over 5x5mm2), stable phase transition

λ-Ti3O5 is the unique oxide material that shows a photo-induced phase transition by visible-light irradiation. It is expected for application for optical recording media such as CD, DVD, and BD because of its low environmental impact compared to conventional chalcogenide materials. However, the crystal size of λ-Ti3O5 is limited to nanometer scale because of its metastable nature. This invention enables λ-Ti3O5 thin films with large surface area (over 5x5mm) using pulsed-laser deposition (PLD) method with TiO2 as a raw material. In a conventional method, λ-Ti3O5 could not be fabricated directly on substrates and an intermediate seed layer was required so that the seed layer component diffuses into λ-Ti3O5, which hindered the phase transition. On the other hand, this invention can synthesize λ-Ti3O5 thin films directly on a substrate without the seed layer, and thus the λ-Ti3O5 thin films show a stable phase transition.

Tohoku Univ.Technology:Piezoelectric thin film & Piezoelectric device:T17-157

MgHfAlN film, World’s Highest FoM

Lead zirconate titanate (PZT) has been widely used as a piezoelectric material in sensors, actuators, and related applications. However, the presence of toxic Pb (lead) in PZT necessitates the search for safer alternatives. This innovative solution introduces a MgHf co-doped AlN thin film that exhibits exceptional piezoelectric properties. The MgHfAlN film is not only lead-free but also achieves groundbreaking performance, boasting the world's highest figure of merit (FoM) exceeding 45 GPa. Additionally, its piezoelectric strain constant (d33) exceeds 23 pm/V, and it delivers an impressive output power of 40 mW within a compact device size of just 1cc. This technology holds significant potential for applications in vibration-powered generator, electric field sensors, force sensors, slip sensors, and more.

Non-combustible membrane material "Dynastar B300"

Photocatalytic and non-combustible materials! Adhesion is possible using high-frequency welders and hot air welding machines!

The "Dynastar B300" is a non-combustible membrane material that can be used to construct tent warehouses and loading areas in quasi-fireproof zones. The surface layer, which is thickly treated with a titanium oxide catalyst, reacts with light, ultraviolet rays, and water to exhibit photocatalytic functions. Additionally, we offer a variety of non-combustible materials, including the powerful 300kg class "FG-8F." 【Features】 ■ The surface layer, thickly treated with a titanium oxide catalyst, exhibits photocatalytic functions. ■ Dirt that adheres to the decomposed surface layer is removed along with rain and water. ■ Adopts a self-renewal system. ■ Can wash away both organic and inorganic dirt. ■ Adhesion is possible using high-frequency welders and hot air welding machines. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Ion exchange membrane material "Sulfonated Polyether Sulfone (S-PES)"

Our "Sulfone-Modified Polyether Sulfone (S-PES)" exhibits high proton selectivity for RFB electrolyte membrane applications.

Vanadium-based redox flow batteries (RFBs) are expected to be promising as large secondary batteries due to their excellent charge-discharge cycle durability and safety. Currently, the electrolyte membrane material commonly used is perfluorocarbon sulfonic acid polymer, but its high cost is believed to hinder widespread practical application. Hydrocarbon-based materials with sulfonic acid groups introduced into aromatic polymers are being investigated. Our company has produced a dense membrane of S-PES and evaluated its performance as an electrolyte membrane for RFBs. As a result, the membrane durability was found to be as strong as that of perfluorocarbon membranes, and the crossover (proton selectivity) showed approximately five times better results compared to perfluorocarbon membranes. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
